Question for any achievement hunter
Do they count the achievements of games banned by Steam in the 2022 Replay? It seems strange to me that it counts them being that they have been deleted, in addition to not even having a thumbnail to show them in the replay. (I have seen many profiles with banned games without a thumbnail in the new showcase).

I'm not sure what do you mean by games banned by Steam in the 2022 Replay, but I can tell you that games with achievements that got deleted from the Steam store for whatever reason don't count towards the perfect games, nor do show up in the list of the perfect games.

If you take a look at my list of ~58 perfect games, you won't notice one called Snowed IN, but if you search for it, you'll see that I've unlocked all its achievements.

My guess would be, they don't count, as if I follow up the logic of my case, then it's only logical to assume that the games with achievements that can no longer be found in Steam store or bought through it won't count as they do no longer exist there.
You can't count something that doesn't even exist, can you?
Games removed from the Steam store DO count towards achievements provided that they didn't have the "profile features limited" tag at the time when they were removed. I have several removed games (for example, Nightmares from the Deep 1, 2, and 3) which still count towards my perfect game score and achievement completion stats.

However, games that had the "profile features limited" tag when they were removed from the store didn't count towards achievements before they were removed, so they wouldn't count afterwards.

If you're unaware of what the "profile features limited" tag refers to, that gets applied to lots of small, indie games that Steam doesn't have enough details on to know whether they're legitimate games or just asset flips or other questionable games. Once a game with that tag reaches a certain threshold (number of sales, number of positive reviews, etc) then the tag gets removed and it will then count towards achievements. I own several games that went through this process (for example, some of the later entries in the 12 Labours of Hercules series) which didn't count towards achievements for a year or so after being released.
Hello, thanks for answering.
According your answers, I have seen many users present me with the same answer, that games removed (banned) by Steam should not count towards Steam Replay 2022, nor should they count towards showcases. The problem is that for me are counting, the game is "Destination Dungeon: Crypts of Warthallow" -I will leave the link to the store, well, to the community because it has been deleted-

https://steamcommunity.com/app/702910

And as you can see, the game is completely banned by Steam, in addition, the game was always in the learning phase with "limited features" you can corroborate it in this SteamHunters link; https://steamhunters.com/apps/702910/achievements
(And yes, the game has 5000 achievements, although this shouldn't matter so much)

I find it too weird that this game counted towards my 2022 replay, the day I first checked my replay, in the achievement showcase I had 5000 extra achievements from this game in my showcase (weird) as I had 3000 game achievements at that time, and the day the replay was released it had 8000 achievements, after having seen my replay, it went back down to 3000 achievements.

I sent a ticket to support, to ask them what they meant by "disabled" games and indeed, they reply are games banned by Steam. So I have sent a second message to support hoping for some kind of solution.

My English is bad, sorry about that, I try to help me with a translator.

Thank you for helping and guiding me too, greetings.

They aren't supposed to count. This is the main reason why achievements on users profiles have been seriously borked for over a month now.
