bought EU/NA hogwarts legacy key, but live in Korea
My account is still based in USA, but I've been living in korea for a while.
If i redeem this, will I not be able to play?
When will the region lock be gone? I heard 3 months, but no confirmation sources.

You should be fine to play it in 13 hours.

At worst, you wait out the 3 months for the lock to expire.

Geographical region is not a factor. It's your Steam store region that will determine things--and has been this way for a few years.

There are a couple of different region lock types:
1. Activation lock -- If the key region and the Steam store region do not match, this key cannot be activated on your account.
2. Play lock -- If the play region and Steam store region do not match, the game will not be installable, playable, or even visible to you for 90 days following the date of activation.

So, if you bought a US region key and your Steam account has its store still set to the US, you shouldn't have a problem.

description of the steam key i bought says this:
This is a restricted product and it can be activated and played ONLY in Europe and North America.

but im physically in korea, so i dont think it will let me install it, despite being able to see it in my library. and after 90 days i will be able to install and play. right?
