Possible to uninstall Epic Games Launcher after adding a game to Steam?

I've just added a game from Epic to Steam. And I want to uninstall the Epic launcher. Will it remove the game from steam as well?

The shortcut will remain in your library. Whether you can actually launch the game depends on whether the game requires the Epic launcher or not.

Keep in mind that adding a non-Steam game is merely adding a shortcut, it doesn't give you a Steam version of the game.

How did you add the game?

If you used the add non Steam game then you didnt add the game to your Steam Account, all you did was create a shortcut. The game probably still needs Epic.

I followed a youtube video. I suppose I could uninstall epic games launcher and see if I can launch the game still in steam

Not all games need Steam or their respective launchers, some will work just by being installed.
You'll find out if it needs epic or not by trying, but the 'add game to steam' is only a shortcut & nothing else, if it needs a launcher it is going to try starting it when you go to start the game.
