Pay Pre-Orders games by installments.
I think anyone would like this to be added on steam. The idea is that once a game is released for pre-order you can select an option to pay it slowly over time. Obvious you have until the official release to pay the game in full. If you do forget to pay it off on time, steam will send a notification that pops up when you open steam returning the money to you. I just feel like it who struggle in saving money. I don't know. what do you guys think?

The easiest solution is always the best.

Take fiscal responsibility and save up for a game you want, thus making payments that way. Once you have enough, buy the game.

If you fail at doing that, what makes you think you can do payments to begin with?

I used to do that at Gamestop when I had no money, just come by every week or so and toss in $10 or what I could afford for a new game or system until it released. IDK, I guess a physical product being different than a digital one is going to be a lot more complicated.

A variant is already there. People can put the "installments" in the wallet, then when enough in the wallet buy the game.

It's actually no different... save up the same way then buy it.. how would a physical copy be different than a digital one ? If you save up cash, just deposit it then buy the game, or pay with online currency / card, then use the cash in place of that.

Problem is the transaction fees... who pays for each individual transaction fee ?

Credit cards were invented for this very function.
