Nothing you said in this statement is true.
It would be great to see Steam deck go on sale, who would benefit from it but the players, limit it to 1 steam deck per account number, this way nobody can buy multiply decks for cheap with the same card, its not about someone trying to buy them to resale.
its about getting them to players to be useful to be experienced and to be productive products that people want.
I am kinda actually flabbergasted at how the community reaction to this type of thing is going, if its in demand you would wanna clear stock an work on your next big upgrade of hardware.
so what is really going on behind steam deck, has steam deck already lost so much money that it can't sell, can't drop price, can't get a user group of players. i am just baffled over this i don't know one real player that wants to pay more for something.
seems a little odd , maybe nobody care about steam deck except the people trying to sell it, i really don't know, well there is always next year.
with only
6000 steam forum threads for steam deck and
5000 steam forum threads for steamdeck bugs
and steam forum being the only possible way for players to communicate directly with steam users. 1 million outta 13,000 people is less then 1% demographic which is not realistic in a world where everyone complains about a product that won't even turn on for many users until they read online in forums how to update and proceed.
Great where is steam deck version 2, if its selling out why would you continue to manufacture same broken design that has been returned by a large number of purchases with issues for repair.
someone with these committee awards would know that advertising outside of steam if strictly prohibited , this is about selling steam decks to people for a better price, other wise they will sit in a warehouse until 2025 when they get liquidated due to better competition.

What you propose makes absolutely no business sense whatsoever.
It's literally selling out...
You do understand it's only been out a little over a year right? No company releases products that quickly in the same line.
Consoles on average, make a new iteration about every 4-5 years.
You keep saying the design is broken and referencing 'a large number of repairs' without any backing whatsoever. Do you have numbers? Do you have actual comparisons of units sold vs. units sent in?
Or is this all because you don't understand how bug report forums work?
StealthMode.... is that you?
you really are a clown and should probably stop posting nonsense
Keep it professional, thanks. this is a serious thread about how steam decks ultimately failing to pick up a population because of overpriced marketing and lack of sales to the people.
steam sells games on sale, so why not sale the steamdeck.
steam has all the actual data on real sales, real returns, real repairs. real units they purchased themselves to increase the sales of the unit.
all companies actually do it, so don't expect steam to not do it to, track records of low valve index users is a clear sign that the industry chooses cheaper hardware over pricey, that people in the world already have enough overhead with mortages and car payments, food, bills and everything else.
typical gamer is not droping 400 or 600 dollars on something, your typical gamer isn't buying 100's of steam games.
you people actually responding to this thread are not typical gamers and are infact something much different, but its not typical run of the mill kids asking mom and dad for games. to many games to little time in life.
i hope this thread helps steam make better choices in upcoming hardware plans.
you have screen shots of "Stray" on your profile i can't take you serious any more, i love kittys, what in the world are you doing.
also Hi, Bee and yes i can, you can review the bad bugs on steam decks discussion forum, you can also search for yourself actual reviews an tear downs of the product, inform yourself of it see how its built, see the good and the bad designs, read other forum threads in regards to oversited improvements that the steam deck really needs.
there is a huge selection of information in this , most players consider it a tinker toy due to the many trial and error issues players face to get the games they want to play. I've seen the tear down and they could do alot better for the price.
That reminds me, I’m pretty sure OP still hadn’t answered my question…
Hey OP, can you please list the serious and dangerous design flaws you’ve repeatedly claimed the Steam Deck has supported by reputable sources?
