COD:MW2 (2022) issues starting

Shows launcher, then black screen.
Does anyone know of a fix? Youtube, or a steam guide, something?

I'd post this on COD:MW2 but I had no help, searching it lead to multiple things that I am unsure if they work .

Edit: I forgot to say, it also shows to verify files. When I do it has 18 missing files, then it shows it again, repeat .

Nobody responded besides just now.
Even then, the comments there are not too useful. Helping would be better than re-direction to something that does nothing.

Honestly i don't think you'll get any much better response here either considering this is not the place to talk about technical problem of any kind video games, you may try go to CoD community on reddit or perhaps discord if they have any.

Unsure if they have a discord. Besides that I'll see if I can find their reddit.
