Buying the F.E.A.R. Collection 'Pack'

So i already own F.E.A.R.3 and wanted to complete the set( actually just wanted F.E.A.R.1 but they made it only availiable in the collection). Anyway, only the second and third games are priced.

Can I receive the rest of the pack if I buy the second? Or am I forced to technically re-buy the third?

If you buy only the second game and it doesn't come in a bundle with the first, you'll only get the second game. If you want the first game, you have to buy a bundle which includes it.

Yes you'll technically have to re-buy the third, but it'll most likely tell you that you won't get an additional copy.

If it's available in your country you can buy a standalone Steam copy of the first game from Fanatical for 90p (or your local equivalent).

I was asking more of curiosity if it works like bundles, as in if you own every store priced product, you also get the bundle exclusive goodies( by buying the bundle for 0$), but i suppose this is a 'pack'.

Are the fanatical codes steam ones? For me at least, splitting my library is tiring to do( between steam, Uplay, origin, GoG, Epic....)

That depends on the bundle, really. But you can check yourself just fine, open the bundle page and Steam will tell you if it excludes products already in your library or not.

If the pack / bundle say it comes with exclusive goodies then that what it come with, just read the game store page, you have scroll down to see what the pack / bundle / other version may include, and in some game cases the exclusive goodies can be sold on their own as a DLC as well.

There no extra goodies for fear games, so what you see is what you get that all there is to it, can get both games for bit cheaper by buying game key for them from fanatical, and redeem key on Steam.

If you are from Germany: As far as I know the 'error' that you will recieve the first F.E.A.R. in the bundle despite the developers not selling it in Germany has been corrected. You won't get the Game when you buy the bundle on Steam.

Aha, thanks for the tip. By bundle exclusives I actually meant some of the F.E.A.R. games as by not being availiable outside the bundle, they are technically exclusives.

But i suppose that even if i bought the F.E.A.R.2, I would still need to re-buy it and F.E.A.R.3 with the collection.

Thankfully, I don't have to deal with game banning like in Germany so that wouldn't be a problem.

They're Steam codes, it always says on the store page which platform they're for.
