remember, they dont have people just sitting around waiting for tickets. and there are others in line already ahead of you waiting for support to get to their ticket.
Contact steam support saying i have a gift card that won't work.
They had me take a photo of the complete gift card, not just the steam code, the actual card with the serial and such. I think i took two picks front and back and sent it back to support. They checked the card and added the money. It took a few days to get it all worked out.
You can still get $5 and $10 cards/codes in the US. Coinstar codes and variable rate top up cards are still available.
