Steam Deck won't boot after factory reset
I factory reset my steam deck and when I turn it on it gives me the message "Fatal Error: Steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again." With a countdown saying "OK (xx)." xx being seconds. In the background it says "Checking for available updates..." When the timer reaches zero the screen goes black and then it turns on and starts the process over again. I have tried using the boot manager with the volume button and power button, and am able to get to that screen, but either one I choose just sends me to the same screen. What can I do?

yup. wonderfull bugs... i see its recent...
still bleh
Same. This piece of junk isn't worth £35 never mind £350. It's clearly an issue for a lot of people so why aren't Valve doing anything about fixing it and/or helping those who can no longer use their Deck?
