People voted for them, just cause you dislike them, doesn't mean others do and it seems a majority liked it and voted for it. Simple as that.

I personally don't think Elden Ring is the "masterpiece of all games" as many have claimed it to be and that it deserved GOTY, since to me it just looks like another dark souls game, but I won't call Game Awards a joke for picking it.

Nah, I don't care about them. Most of the nominations I did were random votes (did a few categories for real). Quite like that Dorfromantik is nominated for Sit Back And Relax (I also nominated it for that), quite love that game.

Considering how one of the final "most innovative" nominations is for a game that is literally a placeholder-full rehash of two-decade-old original game, and even worse than a tiny indie-studio implementation of the follow-up facelift the OG received, I'm pretty confident in assumption that marketing budget from respective companies had more to do with the selection than any "community vote."

Was working without a problem for me a while back, might be either intermittent problem or server/routing issues related to whichever of their servers process your requests.
