im sick of giga chad guides

i hate it when i open the guides page for my favorite games only to be greeted by "hOw To JuMp" with a giga chad picture.
remember when people made actual guides? now its filled with wannabe comedians making stuff like "hOw To oPeN GmOd"

Really need mods to delete them, and warn users for creating them. It's just begging/fishing for Steam points in super popular game hubs.

It should, if it does not already, count as trolling/spamming.

Instead someone like me who reports trash in the Community ends up on the receiving end of the warning, trying to scare me away from reporting.

I don't know how it works atm (I never wrote a guide), but to prevent 'guide spamming', it best were so that guides need likes from users in order to qualify for a reward, and perhaps that bad guides could be reported to be reviewed by the Steam team.

That's good. Because then you can speak in a manner that most people can understand.

In my opinion someone should be permitted to create a "how to jump"-guide. Not because that is a good idea, but because the alternative is worse, and could leave an author confused about the imposed concept of right and wrong.

I don't believe those guides are a problem.
