In terms of rewards, it's why I never pay attention to them, especially game rewards. It's all self serving drivel.

I don't like the way that the "AAA" game experience has turned into a movie with some acceptable combat. Spiderman being the exception.

• Make long drawn out dialog scenes
  
• Always hide loading times behind squeezing into a small area
  
• Have just serviceable enough combat to stay engaging
  
• Use combat for no more than 5 to 10 minutes at any given moment
  
• Make the rest of the game is walking around and looking at things while the characters talk about the things they are walking near and looking at
  
• Force in an necessary fluff factory crafting system
  
• Have your players think your game is good by letting them hit a few buttons during a set piece
  
• If game is successful than use the same engine to make a longer one later
  
• Make sure the game is extremely similar to but mildly different from: The Last of Us, Tomb Raider, God of War, Uncharted or Dark Souls
  
• Never trust the player to figure anything out. Always have the player character or one of their partners directly tell you the answer to any puzzle

They all just kind of play the same and feel like a different coat of paint to the same experience.

Then again as I get older a lot of games seem this way. I don't know if that's the industry or me though.

Thankfully most of Sony's ports have looked vastly superior on PC. There have been a few hitches here and there in control issues, or mouse acceleration, but over all they are great.

No one cares about the PS4. We're discussing PS5 and PC. Of course it will look better on PS5 than on PS4. But it will look vastly superior and run much better on PC vs PS5, how it's always been.
