Elgato Stream Deck on a Steam Deck? ;)

I keep seeing the 'Stream Deck' pop up when doing searches and such as I'm sure others have.

My main question is would it make a good companion to the Steam Deck?

More specifically :

Could you use this in place of a keyboard, as in for game controls?

It has built-in storage, I assume this means you'd program it in Windows (no Linux support yet) and all the settings, configurations, etc are stored on the device and thus usable on the Steam Deck? If yes, in-game macros are then possible?

What about system control? Or mirroring the Steam Menu, or auto swapping to and from desktop mode?

Lol I have so many questions, I'm asking here before I start asking elsewhere. I'd appreciate any informed responses.

You still need some software running on the SteamDeck.

And don't expect it to replace an input device.
I use mine (on a normal Windows Desktop PC) to extend my options.
