ps5 bad right stick

My ps5 controller has slight stick drift when it is pushed down which is no problem. But it also has a issue where if the right stick is flicked up it will cause it to go down like it is drifting down. Im having an issue where if I go into the steam controller settings the dot will still be in the center of the deadzone but flicker like im pushing the stick out of it when visually it is still in the deadzone. I cant fix this using any program like ds4windows or the steam settings. Is it just time to get a new controller?

You can usually fix the drift issue by opening the controller, then open the analog stick housing and clean the little disk that the analog glides against.
