Good anime games that aren't visual novels?

Only anime games I see are dated turn based or visual novel. Visual novels have their niche but I'm not into that. I would like to see some good anime memes.

The only good one I saw so far was NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE which is actually pretty good other than that everything is pretty mid that I saw. Anything I missed?

Plenty of more recent JRPGs. Trails and Persona come to mind.
Shantae.
Senran Kagura, of course.
Huniepop is a puzzle game first and foremost, and not a VN.
Okami and Katamari Damacy are pretty anime.

Depends, unless your directly seeking horror-based parody anime dating sim games, your bucket on anime is rather low, anime games are largely VN's and MMO's of hundreds of flavors with little else added to their pick and mix bag save the one or two odd shooters and some bullet hells. Touhou's bullet hell series is rather fun but in terms of difficulty, lets just say that most maps in Touhou bullet hells make the Undertale Sans fight look like a trial demo...

Persona is rather great, both of its story, music and game modes are all grand, I would say that personally Xenoblade and if your really going to want to get some good meme uses, the Yakuza series is perfect for that stuff if you enjoy the Persona series. I myself like Tower of Fantasy, while it has its P2W side, I am 100% a F2P player and have reached end games already and their adding to it, it also has a very indepth story but its time gated to utter hell.
