Inventory server down started to be a real problem

I receive a gift but whenever I click the notification it sends me to inventory page which showed:

"Sorry!
An error was encountered while processing your request:
You've made too many requests recently. Please wait and try your request again later."

This server problem has been happening for a couple of weeks, pls fix it valve

It's an IP rate limit.

how could this is a thing? never ecounter this in the past. i have no home wifi so played steam game on internet cafe i dont have any control over my connection

i'm still having this problem. i'm not sure what causes this but it only happens when i try to open steam inventory page. and the page just shows that. not just mine but also everyone else's. every other pages still work normally.

The steam inventory has been having issues for years now and yes, it also doeesn't load for me.
