Not letting me nominate a VR game for the VR Award

Am I missing something?

RUINSMAGUS came out this year and is a VR game (it's required to have a VR headset to play the game). I try to nominate it through the store page and through the Nomination page, but I get a message saying it's not eligible. Ummm, ok.

Same issue for me. Also, this game seems interesting. Thanks for putting it on my radar.

Edit: For troubleshooting here's some extra information: I've never played a VR game on Steam and I don't own this game.

The VR Game of the Year isn't merely masquerading as regular reality. This game improves on reality, taking advantage of the medium of VR and pushing the boundaries of the virtual realm.

Steams own award title, so basically it seems only certain things fall under award titles, and in this case unless the game did something ground breaking for VR as a whole, it would not fall under it, strange but eh, its Steams awards to give away


Edit: Oh interesting, so unless we have the product and have played it, we literally cant vote for it, and it has to be a full fledged VR game that we've played, else they allow us to skip it on the page if we never have..huh..

I mean I cant explain why I cant pick any VR game, I'm...just on the tab and it says skip or pick one, and I literally had no games pop up for me, keep in mind I never had a VR headset, yet I have played games with VR as a feature which is why Im baffled on why I cant pick at least something either.

The prior thing was just my guess, I could be more then wrong, I wont ever say I'm right unless someone can back me up xD
