Steam vs Xbox live vs PSN
I recently bought a gaming computer, created a steam account, and bought a bunch of games (mostly just cheap, older games from a few years ago) and I am starting to have some doubts as I am wondering if you guys think steam is worth it, or it is more viable to use a console

Just gotta find your game and group of people. PC communities are abundant and of all sizes, explore a bit.

PCs often give you more power for your money versus consoles, if you invest in parts to optimize it for gaming.

It's worth it even if you are primarily a console gamer.

Thats completely a subjective question, that only you can ultimately answer. Its what best suits your own gaming style and life style factors.

Steam is a Lifestyle

You provided no reason why you doubt Steam. Consoles and PC are both viable, it just comes down to preference.

For starters, you don't need a $60/$50 subscription to play online like you do with XBL and PSN.

"PC Gaming" should really just be about gaming.
All you need to do is find games that you enjoy.
What kind of genre are you interested in?

Steams always worth it.
Well it all comes down to what you want from gaming. Nothing wrong with consoles.

Actually there is plenty wrong with consoles, there is just nothing wrong with liking them.

Nothing wrong in owning one, what i meant.

More of an opinion thing. Im having no trouble with 30fps medium graphics and lack of mods. I can play games just fine. Of course if one is used to high standards then its a bag of sh1t, basically.

I have all of them and I prefer PC for the most part. So good choice.

I use my PC primarily for the strategy single player and more high end stuff , console for the Fallouts , online shooters etc. I just find it easier to play shooters via controller with a big screen . However I do spend a lot more time on Steam simply due to the variety of games available .

It all depends on what you do in your gaming .

i mostly use my playstations for gaming, i love steam because i can play a variety of super cheap indie games, and theres alot of old games from the 90s and early 2000s on here i can play at high quality, even if i had a 5000 dollar build pc that can play ♥♥♥♥ at 4k, i still wouldnt play this as my primary

It depends, man. Don't buy a PC if you only want to play console styled games. Far too few console ports are actually high quality.

Me, I refuse to pay for the option to play online, after already buying a game. That makes no sense to me so I don't bother buying Xbox or Playstation. As I mostly play platformers, rpgs and strategy games.... a PC and whatever Nintendo console is current works for me. That's the key, finding out what works for you. Just don't hop onto Steam and PC gaming because it's a fad right now.
