Is getting all achievements worth it?

I've been trying to get all acheivements for some of my games which I only have one perfect game about to get my second but it stresses me out however at the same time i have nothing better to do so i don't know i just want to know what kind of mindset someone has to have for this kind of thing

its worth it if its fun, or if you do the trading card ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ which requires the lack of a life and too much time on your hands.

I probobly wont be perfecting games anymore but at the same time i dont know what i would do with my time just look at the hours i put in daily

Yes some games can be hard to achieve especially if you dont cheat like some I've seen. Use Youtube they have pretty good video on games an achievements. Also check that games discussion page>right click game in library view forum then at the op see if there is any achievements guides. :)

People use a program to unlock the achievements without actually earning them. If you aren't already on astats.nl you might check that out as it will flag those people.

You should check that place out then it makes it a little more fun to achieve them since you have people to compete with.

Achievements have nothing to do with the trading cards. For if it is worth it that is something you have to decide for yourself and can vary from game to game.

It's not worth it if a game requires you to play for a 1000 hours, not play it for 5 years or do something in multiplayer when player count is 0 or servers are gone.

Some achievements are worth getting; others are not.

And that will depend on your gaming habits/style. For example I ignore something like "beat boss rush on nightmare difficulty", unless it's a game that I felt was very simple/straightforward/quick in the first place.

its not xbox platform so its not worth because steam doesnt bann people who using steam achievement unlocker than xbox who love to protect thea achievement to give reward for the player.

i mean achievement is for show person what he get when he play so i love xbox do that than steam honestly

It depends on the game/the achievements whether I get them all, or not. "Or not" is the more common case.

Well, that depends on you. Do you get satisfaction when you get achievements? If so, it might be worth it to pursue them.

For me I can say I don't care about them. I don't try to get achievements and I don't look at them. If they remove them completely, nothing will change about the way that I approach my games.

I'm mostly glad that it's just a small little pop-up when you get an achievement, not the larger prompts (with annoying sounds) you get on the consoles. Though I haven'tchecked whether I can turn that one off.

It depends on the game and the achievement if is hard i won't bother with it.
