What are some great games on Steam that are under $50-40 bucks right now?

Just wondering. Been thinking of getting Fallout 3 and Elder Scrolls Oblivion for the mods(since they're both $20 each) but maybe there's one game that's better. For my system specifications, I have a GTX 960.

the GOTY edition doesn't include the DLCs which is unfortunate as you can't get them separately any longer

This will polarise opinions but I enjoyed Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim more than Fallout 3 and Oblivion. If you haven't played any of these then I would start with New Vegas and Skyrim; both also have a crazy amount of mods available.

Really? I've been constantly hearing from die hard Fallout fans that New Vegas was the best Fallout game in the franchise and greatly surpasses both 3 and 4.

Skyrim if you like mods, Borderlands 2 if you like DLCs and expansions, The Witcher 3 for just plain awesomeness.

Just get Daggerfall for free and save your money.. It's a buggy mess and its graphics are from 1996, but it's free.

Id reccomend Arma 3 if your into mil-sims but it also has a very vast modding community to

Avoid Fallout New Vegas; it's a crashfest. Skyrim runs better.
