Steam moderators purge
When is Steam/Valve going to purge the 'moderators' who act like shills and enforcers for certain game companies, 'defending' through censorship and intimidation the poor products sold as finished, quality products when, in reality, are flimsy excuses for money grabbing.

I hope Steam/Valve is not knowingly condoning such despicable behaviour.

Same pattern in action.
I start a thread on a topic that hurts the shady interests and 'pop' here comes the vigilantes squad.
Moving forward...
If certain game specific forums are the feudal ownership of the game's publisher under the control of its employees, what is Steam/Valve responsibility then?
Can Steam/Valve allow the spread of consistently anti-consumer practices, considering it is the principal business medium through which the respective companies operate and Steam/Valve either puts forth or helps accessing the tools used to popularise those companies products?

Ah yes the tactic of labeling people who you don't even know if they even PLAY the game you're complaining about as an effort to deflect from the evidence that already exists in your own posting history.

I always love it when a user, who has an ax to grind decides that being upset means the whole industry needs to change their ways, or else.
'Whole indusrty'!? Why stop there, the whole universe is the logical next step.
'Unfortunately', for now I have to resume myself to Paradox's Victoria 3 scam release and its 'moderators'/shills henchmen and simply point out to Valve it is time to use the mop and clean the premises a bit.

Please don't make it obvious you're not serious. LOL.

Glad to know it.
Then I hope Valve will look into the matter and, I underline this, Valve will ALSO have look into the case of VICTORIA 3 release and investigate if this is not a situation where Paradox is breaking its contractual obligations towards Valve and the consumer base Valve facilitates Paradox access to.
If, as I suspect it is the case, Paradox moderators were instructed to purge criticism directed to Paradox's commercial practices, then it's high time Valve purges the moderators. The post title summed it up. As for the ban, I don't post in years, couldn't care less, it's just that this time Paradox greed went too far and I also don't think some of their hired hands shouldn't be allowed to abuse their position with impunity.

There is no evidence they have broken any contract with Valve outside of your review claiming it has nothing to do with Victoria 2.
You can selectively pick whatever you like, let Valve look into Paradox commercial practices and how it affects Valve interests, I'd like to witness repercussions occur for Paradox, but, for now, the OP is about Valve operating a new wave ( I understand there were others before) of filtering out biased moderators, in my own words: a PURGE.

If I'm not then you shouldn't worry. Unfortunately, I am serious and I don't have the intention to abandon before I notice some change happens.
I thank you for allowing me to refresh the visibility of this topic with each of your posts asking for a reply. You didn't believe you held the ultimate truth, did you?
It makes no sense to suggest I thought I held the ultimate truth. I have many skills, but Omniscience isn't one of them. :P
But Paradox isn't evil incarnate and you clearly hate them in a completely over the top way. :P

You GOT purged, for...gross abusive behavior.

I see no action needed on Valve's behalf. When you spend the better part of a year brigading a game by posting insult after insult in the game's forums, and provide nothing constructive but "game sucks".

They're well within their rights to simply, remove you.

Don't like it? There's the door.
Yeah, and Valve can further remove him if they wanted to.

In what way is Paradox commercial practices worse than anyone else? Valve's interests aren't threatened by Paradox practices. There's no purge to be done. No shills or agents out to get you. If you break the rules, you may get banned for a while. Accept it and move on.

Yeah I don't think he's happy that now he can't sit there and argue/bash a game all day now.

Or that Steam fully supports mods/devs removing troublemakers from their forums at their own discretion. So's long as the Dev/mod in question don't display abusive behavior in the ban messages or forum itself (No, "censoring" you via banning you isn't abusive behavior reportable to Steam support. Sorry, OP)

Hell, I got banned from an unhinged Dev's game forums for quite literally debating against him as to why he shouldn't be using slurs and targeting LGBT individuals. Admittedly, that Dev quite literally got his game inevitably removed from Steam. However, said ban still remains.

Paradox is too good and well known of a company to do anything underhanded. LOL.
That's well known.
I mean, DLC practices are a bit excessive, but that's their only flaw.

Sorry, but you really can't win here.
'Win"!? I've already lost the money thrown on Paradox's miserable excuse of a game. But I won't tolerate any longer the bullying practices of their shills and I'm pushing the case before Valve. If they like to let these nests of toxic (he, he) commercial practices spread inside their community, very well, eventually consequences will spread too.
No consequences to be had, Devs and their deemed moderation staff can police the forums to their discretion. So's long as no actual ToS is broken. And from the looks of it, no ToS has been broken.

On the contrary, I encourage everyone who has the time and patience to look the (most awarded & hated at about the release time) post and make their own mind.

You do love your definitive conclusions, don't you?
I disagree with you, but it's your right to repeat yourself.
I just want corrupt moderators removed and this is Valve's job and that's where I directed my suggestion. A few commenting here understood and offered their view on the topic. Others act like they don't understand and keep trying all kind of diversions. Let them try.
