That's why you change the actual preferences and not just block tags. Go to the store preferences and you can turn Sexual Content and Adult Only Sexual Content off.
Steam isn't age restricted.
You mean the "must be 13 for an account"?
Yeah, that's a federal regulation. By that logic every website that has an account system is "age restricted".
Age restricted means you have to verify your are of a certain age before you can view the site.
Don't know. But the site and store itself has no age gate.
So, again, Steam is not age restricted.
I don't get the complaint here.
Same for anything really?
You are never going to stop everything and thats life
It's an issue with the Steam platform period.
And for Valve, it's super easy to add the functionality.
And for you who have provided your negative two cents, it would improve your ability to discover new games you would like.
That makes no sense.
You can already do all of that right now.
You cannot find Adult games if you turn off the Adult Games options.
That's literally what it does.
Then all you need to do is block the hentai tag, and maybe one or two others.
THen boom. No more adult games or even 17+ games. :P
It's so very simple, and I don't know why you think Valve doesn't have these options when they truly do. And people have explained this in the thread.
LOL.
If you do all of this, and still see adult games, please link us those games so we can see how they are bypassing all the filters in existence.
(I asked Steam Support that same question yesterday, and their reply basically was that I should post a feature-request for that feature in this forum.)
