Affected are Canada, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Austria (and Singapore perhaps)
There are no ways to bring Steam or Valve attention to the matter, support only has a wizard with predefined topics and no possibility to contact in a generic manner.
My possibilities to react are:
1. Become a domestic citizen of USA
2. Make a contract with another credit-card-provider
3. Try my luck at another game-platform
All of the above is too much hassle, or paperwork, just to download a game.
Instead of about 12 games per year this will be Zero sold games per year, they've lost a customer...
Whoever made the decision to cut a payment-method, that existed over the last 15years (or more?),
made a bad business-decision
I use it all the time.
Go to the store and use your card to buy a steam gift card and add it to your account.
