Custom artwork for non-steam games?
I'm wanting to add custom artwork to a non steam game and was wondering if there was a recommended upload size (A x B Pixels) like there is for a profile pic?

Appreciate all informed replies

600 x 900 for the cover picture for the perfect fit.
But honestly as long as its roughly in that aspect ration of 2:3 pretty much every picture works.
If its smaller or bigger Steam will just resize it.
Even if you use pictures in the wrong aspect ration like 900x 900 it will still display but will be focused on the middle part of the picture.

I added like 300 custom covers so far, its really easy.
There are also background pictures and game logos.

Best resource site for all those pictures is:
https://www.steamgriddb.com/

Here users can upload their custom covers for Steam and non Steam games.
Its very rare i dont find a already uploaded set for any given game.

Thankyou so much. I'm OK with Photoshop and as a previous web designer I'm just a little picky to observe protocol from a web - space-saving perspective. Old habits die hard ;-)

Thanks again :lunar2019smilingpig:

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
