Fifa purchase

I bought FIFA22 in the recent sale at 7.99, I've come to play it to find that Steam have refunded my purchase and say if I still want it, I must rebuy it for 49.99.
They are not answering my ticket. Don't know how to proceed with this other than buy it via Origin for less, but I would prefer to have all of my games on the Steam platform.
Any advice how I can get the sale price honoured (the purchase was completed and appeared in my library?)

Your first mistake was buying FIFA. lol.

And yeah if you refunded it. You'd have to buy it again at whatever price it is now. If you missed the sale window. thats it.

Steam doesn't tend to refund games without being asked. Was a chargeback initiated somehow? Did you get any account alerts? Emails?

LOL @ Grims, never bought it before, I'm usually a Football Manager player, but at 7.99 thought it was worth a try. But I didn't want it refunded and didn't get any alerts. Certainly not paying £49.99 for it!!
