Last (beta?) update scrambled my DS buttons

My Dual Sense buttons have been swapped. As in X is now circle and so on. Has anybody else had this problem?

Ok, I have the same issue. I tried an 8bitdo controller and an Xbox controller, but they have the same problem. Good to know it's not just me. I'm using the beta Steam client, so I don't know if that's it or not.

Thank you for the answer. If it's something caused by the beta updates it'll be probably be reverted soon enough on the next update.

Yeah I just spent the past 10 or so minutes trying to fix this, and it was just the recent beta update. Just opt out of the beta for now because this is actually inverting controls in games too.
(As in A/B Xbox controlls are default mapped to X=B and O=A)

Same issue here, I tried going back to non-beta and it's the same issue. Now when I try to load the controller UI it crashes steam entirely.

Opting out of the beta worked for me. It actually even fixed a slight input lag that I had on non-steam games.
