Does anyone know when Sea of Thieves will go on sale? My friend won't buy it until it does so I'm jus wondering.

Nobody here knows when games go on sale.
Only the publishers knows, and it's not in their interest to tell. They want to sell at full price.

To me it looks like it goes on sale every other month or so.

It appears the publishers regularly partake in the major sales events by offering a discount on Sea of Thieves during them. I would expect the next sale price will be either Halloween or Autumn sales events.

All your friend needs to do is Wishlist the game and they'll get email notification of when it goes on sale.
