EA as a company is horrible (like many other big companies) but they do have good games (from their studios)

I used to purchase gaming magazines back in the day which came with demo discs. Technically those were paid demos as theft was the only alternative to playing those demos, that is of course unless the disc was given to you, but ultimately someone paid for the magazine which hada the discs.
