I can't login in any of my Steam accounts through web browsers ever since Steam did changes related to login, like changing the login web page look for web browsers and added Steam mobile app beta for beta testers... Now after every time I type the CORRECT username and password, it gives me a window to type Steam Guard code, and after I type it, it gives me meassage "ERROR. Something went wrong while attempting to sign you in. Please try again later." Are there more people experiencing this or am I one of the rare ones? Also I am discussing this issue with Steam support for 6 days now and almost every time they say "We saw that you had a successful login in the day of your last reply". It almost seems like every time I TRY to login with any of my accounts, for Steam support it shows up as "successful" login while on my end all I am getting is same "ERROR. Something went wrong while attempting to sign you in. Please try again later.". Also after failed attempts to login through Google Chrome web browser, I decided to try to login through Microsoft Edge web browser, and it did work, with few accounts, when all of a sudden Steam again stopped allowing me to login with any of my accounts. What is happening? Steam Support so far suggested me to clear cashe for my browser and remove extensions and addons and I did all that, yet the problem still remains. Last person from Steam Support suggested me to login from different computer and/or different Network. What am I supposed to do, buy a new internet and new computer just so I can access my own Steam accounts in which I already invested a lot of money? I have also checked the reviews of Steam app in Google Play store and it/s 3.6 out of 5 rating, and almost all the latest reviews people say that they can't make an account, they can't recover their accounts or they are unable to login their existing accounts. Does anyone have any idea what's the problem and how to fix it?

Guys... I found a fix to not being able to login through web browsers (at least it worked for me). Try to go to a web browser that you don't normally use in daily basis like Microsoft Edge or install a new fresh web browser like Opera or Mozilla Firefox (assuming you are using Chrome in daily basis), check some youtube videos on how to clear cookies in that web browser, you will have more options on what to clear there along with cookies like history, passwords etc, clear ALL of it. From that point your web browser should be completely fresh and clean and you should be able to login in your Steam accounts again!

hello guys, i had the same problem for the past few minutes. i use the Opera GX browser, basically what i did is : open run (win+r) > type temp then press enter > delete all files in the folder, then again open run (win+r) > type %temp% then press enter > delete all files in the folder (note that some files won't delete cause of windows won't let you) and then after that i cleared my browser's cache/cookies and sign in again. it worked fine for me. try this fix, i hope it works out for you guys.

This issue really freaked me out. I don't use steam a lot, and just made a big purchase (VR set), only to suddenly find myself locked out of my account due to this error. Had me worried Steam just stole my money.

I was able to get in by connecting with a private browser (chrome). This indicates maybe Steam has done something stupid with cookies or other cached browser data. So, I guess as a work around until Steam removes their heads from their third point of contact, might be clearing all cache stuff, or using a private browser.

I just validated that when using Chrome, clearing cookies and cached files resolved the issue for me.

I can't get in today, was in yesterday no problem. I use Chrome, cleared cookies and cache to no avail.

I only deleted temp folder cause I don't want to log out other sites. Works well.

All I had to do was power cycle my router.

Restart your internet or just use a VPN. I used a VPN and it worked fine for me.
