How to make steam theme transparent

Hello! My example is this guy:

I like his background and i like how where his level + around avatar etc is transparent so you can see the background. can i have some explanation on this and maybe a way to do it myself?

Thank you, i did actually previously read through that post however not many of the comments give me much of an answer. I understand that certain ones may give more of a transparent background than others but the guy i linked in this discussion has a much more transparent than what mine looks like when i equip the exact same background. yet to find an answer but i appreciate the response

To get similar effect:

1. View the profile equipped items (new icon below Level on profile)
2. Get and equip the same Game Profile from point shop
3. Change background - the "Profile Modifier" from game profile will stay, with transparency and other cool effects.

... but it seems you have it already
