Me too. I was on dial-up though. Couldn't get the update to download, so I had to wait until the next day when I could bring my computer to work.

Edit:
Interestingly, my profile says my anniversary date is November 13 2004. I definitely remember picking up my collectors edition physical copy (With the t-shirt.) on the day of it's release, then going home and installing it. I guess it's possible the store I got it from let me have it a few days early, but I feel like that's a detail I would have remembered.

Meh, our Years of Service badges tell when we joined Steam. Date and time down to a minute readily available to anyone interested.

As for anyone who joined during the first few days, the answer would be Half-Life and the mods like CS, TFC, DoD.

Using such information for account recovery would be kinda silly.

You know that one of these questions is literally printed on someones profile after one year on Steam?

Besides even if I give you a complete list of my activated Keys with timestamps and my first used payment method you would still require either my Account name or my E-Mail
