Rate Steam Summer Sale 2022
1/10

I use to be generous and give Summer Sales at least a two but this year even the meta game was a disaster. The most I can say about it is that the art is cool but the actual game only impresses on us that Valve wants us to BUY BUY BUY without any concern about the fun factor or users just enjoying themselves. That happens to monopolies, I guess. Valve is no different than EA these days. RIP

I got myself a few fun games, so I'm happy.

I’m around 5/10, perhaps four.

4/10 this year was really disappointing cause the games and the fact they want us to just buy like you said but the art and idea were cool but just hell no for me

The worst summer sale event in the history of summer sale events..no entertainment or fun for me in searching through reems of garbage to find the next “game”

The Worst Steam Sale that we ever got so far, it was gradually deteriorating in recent years anyway, but i can confidently say that we hav finally reached the lowest Point possible.
LIterally nothing besides the usual deals, The "Event" was atrocious and annoying, so much actually that i just skipped it with a Browser Script.

7/10. As I've said in other threads, I liked the event. It was a bit of fun, the fake games were amusing and had entertaining descriptions and tags. Generally the games weren't too hard to find and it was nice to get not just stickers but avatars, avatar banners and a pretty nice profile theme. While not as good as some previous events in my opinion, it's light years better than the steam winter sale and my expectations are a lot lower nowadays, so anything that's remotely engaging/interactive is nice.

Can I rate it a Zero? I hate the store look. It's huge. It's the Windows 8 of store themes.

It's a bit boring for my taste, not to mention a bit generic design wise. Otherwise it's an okay sale for me, I'm currently into retro gaming. But for the summer badge, it looks great if you have enough points the level 37 badge looks amazing. As for the mini game, it's really challenging who knows those fake games can become real, looking at you billionaire guatiar.

Wouldn't really say anything about the sale prices but the aesthetic that they chose for this year's Summer Sale is quite nice. The minigames though is just ok. I still miss that one racing minigame where they'd just pit Steam users against each other, it was fun.

5/10 too but can give 6/10 cos I got more than I wanted.

As for the event... so-so 3/10. Not fun but I get to collect the card and sell for a few cent each.

No real discount on the big games.

as someone said before, if you were keeping you eye on the Epic game store, you would have the bioshock trilogy, tomb raider trilogy and a few other big game like GTA5 all free.

+ if you have amazon prime then you will also have prime gaming which gave me battle field 5,4 and one for free.

So ya, steam is falling behind.
