A purchase disappeared from my credit card transactions...despite the games still being in my library

So...something kind of strange happened, and I am wondering if anyone else has had experience with this. On the first day of the sale, I bought a few games and they spent the last several days as 'pending' on my credit card. Then, today, the transaction just vanished. Poof. No longer pending, not gone through...just gone. The games are still in my library, my transaction history shows no failures...but as far as my card goes, it's like it never happened.

Does anyone know if this is just something with Valve, or is this something off with my card?

I've had that happen before. A charge was pending, then it disappeared. A day or two later it showed up again as posted.
