I found Gangsters: Organised Crime : Going for 40 usd if I recall. Boxed version so fair enough.
I only discovered this game over the weekend but seems really popular on Gog for 2 bucks... Normally 8 or so.
Of course, there are issues with different O.S. and so the review rating is low as it is on Steam if usually the person is not willing to hunt for a fix online to the game. Which I kinda feel odd about if they had a computer back in the day and played the actual game but whatever...
So, yeah, Amazin sells dreams at high prices for nostalgic gaming. Unless you know how to find fixes or your interface really really well...
oh? Where can I look at this?
Thanks
But 'Amiga Forever' on PC still might be the better choice
Emulation, I presume.
Probably not.
If the IP owners want to deal with their 30 year old Amiga titles, nothing is stopping them. Problem is, it would take time and money to get that sorted out. And sometimes all that nostalgia doesn't translate into piles of cash. And games are often a for-profit business...
Cool , thanks matey.
Yes, I can see the points raised a few times by others, it is not a cashcow, but a trickle of milk can fill buckets. I would have used jugs but I didn't want to distract anyone...
See that's the question. And eveidence seems to point to the answer being...not really.
Not when you can get double the the return in half the time puting the money elsewhere.
The question is simply,. Will the returns be greater than just leaving the same amount of money in a bank.
I kind of just got thinking about this whole topic when I discovered my boxed version of Pirates! in storage. The PC last version of course but it had been in storage for over 15 years heh.. I also read on the Steam forum there is a privacy issue with tracking data which I missed when I purchased the Steam version. So, I suppose I will just install the boxed version I kept for so long.
Would be a completely different scenario with an Amiga game, those floppy discs for a start, I suppose I could just stare at them and pray for a miracle ha! ...
Thanks all for replies, seems a tough road ahead to doing this legitimately and not using fiddly emulators. S'pose I'll drop some cash on the first one that can play Battle of Britain at least. In addition to purchases at GoG of course. : )
I've also got a time capsule up the loft. Black bags full of original games. I got the stock after a friend's shop went out of business. I've literally got most stuff Amiga, including the 1mb accelerator board and colour monitor. I'm in 2 minds now to drag it all down after reading this...
iirc Terminator was 12-14 disks. Many games. The Amiga Format magazines and binder also.
If i get it down i will take some pics of course.
Yeah, I think Battle of Britain was 4 discs or something.
Lucky you man.
My mother sold my Amiga when I was overseas.... Should have put it into storage too when I finalised my lease to head overseas. Ooopsss!
Niiice. Thank you!
Every game in my op?
I should also add International Karate +
I'll add some here when I think of them : O
Update: : O Goooooollld! Big 6.2gb chunk of it ...

I have a working boxed copy for my 1200, it was the Kixx XL big box that I think worked on all Amigas 500 onwards.
