Any teen rated games like Horizon Zero Dawn

I finished HZD and loved it, I want more games like it. Any suggestions?

I agree, HZD is a great game with a great story. You could try the sequel, which is a Playstation exclusive, or you could try more open-world games like RDR, Fallout 4, and God of War.

For clarification and for you to get better, more relevant answers; which parts of HZD was it in particular you liked and want more of?
Open world gameplay, exploration, combat mechanics, etc.?
Or was it the story, setting or worldbuilding ('eco-sci-fi' in this case, I guess), but where the genre or gameplay is less important?

Unfortunately Steam doesn't enable searching per age rating, since the rating (displayed on each game's store page) varies depending on where you are, so that would be not-easy to do.

I'm just looking for games with a good story, an open world, good combat (with stealth and non-stealth combat), and decent graphics. I know that's a lot to ask, but I know there's probably something that fits what I want.

I would recommend Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Not completely open world and not a ton of stealth but great story, graphics, and combat mechanics. and rated teen.

I'd say that covers A LOT of acclaimed AAA games of the last decade except for the criteria of "less murder". That's actually an interesting predicament, that most games under that banner have shooting/violence as a check-mark...


Here are some (more or less relevant) suggestions, but I'm intrigued as to what other answers people come up with.

- Submerged: Hidden Depths
- Assassin's Creed Origins (Discovery Tour Mode)
- Quantum Break
- Elex 1 & 2
- The Surge (PEGI 18, but AFAIK you only kill robots - don't quote me on that, though)
- Prey (2017) (PEGI 18, but AFAIK you only kill aliens - dqmott)

- Eastshade (has a vibe to it that reminds me of HZD)
- The Turing Test
- Relicta (mostly linear sci-fi FPS physics puzzler)
- Deliver Us The Moon
- No Man's Sky (no story as such, AFAIK)
- Cloudpunk
- The Witness (FPS puzzle game)

- Deus Ex (2000) is not open-world and it's ugly as sin compared to newer games, but the story and scenery is good, and you can complete the game without killing a single enemy. Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided are prettier, but I can't judge whether they are too violencey.

Not out yet on PC, and not open-world, but I think the Uncharted games have quite a bit in common with HZD.
