Update: Based on the comments, it looks like I should clarify what I mean in the second paragraph. I'm saying that using these methods are futile (i.e. it doesn't work) - most of the time. So follow the instructions from the third paragraph and on. Those that commented that Ctrl+F doesn't work, that is exactly what I mean.

As for the comments that say it doesn't work because they didn't find it in the same spot, that's what the third paragraph explains. The categories you need to click through in blue is random, but the categories beneath it is consistent. There are three categories you need to go through to get to the game you are looking for. First category is automatically done for you since clicking on GO FIND IT will take you directly to that page. Second category are the blue buttons at the top. Lastly, the third category are the ones in white font when you scroll down.

I will create a guide with images for easier searching and post the link here when it is completed.

To solve the riddle, you need to find the correct game in the store by clicking on the game when you are taken to each page after clicking GO FIND IT via the events page.

For the most part, it is futile to use generic ways to search for the game. Googling the game and clicking into it will take you back to the event page. Inspecting the page and searching via console only works if the game is on the immediate screen, which worked on only 1/10 clues for me.

The category where the game will appear can be random. So you may need to use the trial and error method to find the game.
Keep clicking on various categories and scroll through each carousel until you find it. From my experience, I needed to click through the categories in blue, but it seems the categories beneath is has been consistent. They will also always appear as the biggest icon in its category.

Thanks. The second game doesn't exist on my store page though. I can google but the moment I log into steam it redirects me to frontpage and then it's gone. No auto-search, no manuel search. Nothing. Can't even open the google link from there.

Thank you for this. This was the first guide that was able to help me do it. You guys still need to use y own brain but this ♥♥♥♥ helps. I just hate these types of events i feel like i wasted 30-60 minutes of my day to do this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass event, yeah Steam i get it you want us to see the sales but i think everyone checks them even if there would not be an event/mission to do. Please Valve dont do this ♥♥♥♥ again at winter sale or next year.

The game title for the second clue is correct but its hard to find. The game was under resource management instead of sandbox.

The second game took the longest for me. You need to click randomly on the categories in blue as this part of the event is random and I only put in where I found mine. It's tedious, but after figuring out the pattern, you'll get it. Good luck. (:
