For everyone doing this click on the Go To, or find, I wasn't really paying attention, add a filter to the Narrow By towards the bottom of your page then start spamming the crap out of the Load More button occasionally stopping to Ctrl + F your page for the title of the game. It's all RNG so don't worry if your page reloads and don't waste time reading any game titles.
store shows that 9 games are hidden.
I turned off all filters in store prefferences.
except I have 1500 ignored games.
but still can't find
Dead Seagull Zoo Magnate
any tips?
I've tried filtering it down by tags of "building" and "management" but that didn't show it and I've reached the end of the "Show More" results for those tags
(edit #1: the search results is starting to lag now, won't even let me click "Show More" without freezing up)
(edit #2: I finally got it... the only filter tag I've used was "sandbox" and nothing else)

According your screenshot you got that under "PHYSICS & SANDBOX" which was referred in the guide.
Same here.
No sign of Frankenstein's monster. I guess the mob of pitch-fork wielding villagers finally got it! ^^
If I could be bothered to post my displeasure of being set a challenge of searching for games that can neither be found manually or via the search engine, I would, but honestly there is no point in it!
1. Choose the correct category using the guide OP posted (example CASUAL)
2. Scroll to the bottom, choose TOP SELLERS
3. Hit the SHOW MORE button multiple times until you get more results (sometimes it wont activate by clicking once, at worst I clicked 20 times before it activated)
4. Repeat #3 until you find the clue (my list got 200+ games long before I found some)
Though I have to say, I appreciate the effort by Valve in doing something for the sale, the riddles are quite interesting and the game descriptions are amusing. it'd be easy to make it as boring as the winter sale, so thanks for not doing that!
