Is there something wrong with Discovery queue? [Solved]
I click on discovery queue and it shows me the first game, but instead of a next button i get an explore your discovery queue button and it takes me back to the main discovery queue page. i.e. I cant explore discovery queues anymore?
NB: Was working fine yesterday

Edit:
Tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge and all had this same problem. Someone in another thread suggested unticking all the boxes for the queue selections on the main queue page and this fixed it for me.

If you are stuck in a "discovery queue" loop - it shows you the same game repeatedly and refuses to move on - choose the "ignore" option and then reload the page. This might solve the issue.

Nevermind it seems to be fixed now

My queue still seems to be broken, sadly

Mine is still broken. If I choose ignore and restart the discovery queue, I just get a single different game which again takes be back to the main discovery queue page and there is still no way to see more of the queue.

Just checking here because it seems to be broken for me too. No "see next" button.

Click on the STORE tab > Discovery queue > Customize your queue > Ok.
Once you do that your queue will reset. At least it did for me. Give it a try.

Can confirm doing this resets it and now it works again.

Thank you.

The only thing that fixed it for me was to untick all selections, save and tick the boxes I wanted again and save. Then it was fine.
Thanks for the tip OP.

It bugged again a second time. The original fix worked for a few days and then the queue broke again. On the second occasion, I had to put ticks back in (as you said) to get it working the second time.

A working solution was already posted here, but I've posted this in other discussions and I'm adding it here as well because it offers other ways you can try to solve the problem.

There is a common problem where the Steam Discovery Queue does not update properly on a daily basis, giving you the same queue you have already finished.

To fix this, you can generate a new list of games by starting your queue by clicking the "Start another queue >>" button on Steam store front page (scroll down a bit to get to it)

Or use this link for the same effect: https://store.steampowered.com/explore/startnew

If that doesn't help, you can also try clicking the "Customize your queue" button on the Discovery Queue page and then "OK", which should generate a new queue for you.

The "start your queue from the Steam store front page" is the solution that Steam support will give you if you contact them about this issue.

What do they mean by front page? If they mean the Store option followed by Discovery Queue, that is the way I always do it.

PS: After my last comment I found it was broken again (a third time). So far I've fixed it by removed ticks, worked for a while, then had to tick things, again worked for a while and I just had to remove ticks again to get it to work.

There are two ways to reach your Discovery Queue: 1) From the Store drop down menu in the top main menu, and 2) the front page when you scroll down past a bunch of sales.

The main menu takes you to:
https://store.steampowered.com/explore/
This takes you to the Discovery queue page. It's meant to be a landing page to see some information about games you've seen in past queues, to explain the queue system, and to start a queue. Unfortunately it's not always starting a new queue from this page.

The front page link takes you to:
https://store.steampowered.com/explore/startnew
This puts you right into a new queue and to start working towards earning a new event card if you are eligible to get one. And then you need to keep track if you are actually eligible. The information on the front page has always told me that I've viewed my queue for the day when I haven't. I just go back into a queue around the same time each day regardless of what it says and earn my event card.

On this page: https://store.steampowered.com/ Scroll the page down until you see the Discovery Queue section on the page (do not go to your Discovery Queue from the menu at top). Click the "Start another queue >>" button when you see it, and it should generate a new working queue for you.

How to you get to the right page if you use the Steam client instead of a webpage? What menu options to click on? My STORE> FEATURED page, which is what I thought was the main page, seems to have no end and just keeps scrolling down seemly forever
