How to bypass a clue game which is hidden and cant be restored to view?

How to workaround? I changed all settings to show every game but its still hidden. its so annoying.

It is so broken right now.

Yesterday, 5 of the games were even searchable, so I added them to my wishlist. Today, the first riddle answer was not even on my wishlist anymore, along with 2 others.

Valve needs to get their ♥♥♥♥ together; this thing has been broken since the first minute, and it has only gotten worse.

However, if you mean that the Clorthax games didn't show up because you have too many ignored games in some categories?, I can confirm that I observe the same thing, and have sent a bug report to support (as well as a thread nearby).

Excluded tags and ignored game categories affect the visibility of the fake games. This has been proven.

I too did clear all my ignored tags, even found script to clear all 1k ignored games to find fifth clue game, but it still doesn't show up, though there is no plank saying "# items hidden". Irritating.

I might sound like a complete dummy here, but what do you even have to do in this event? I'm clueless. However, reading this thread makes me realize its not even remotely close and easy as previous events

you have to find fake games that were added specifically for this event

in short you have to scroll between categories until you find a game that has an obvious fake price and click it

it's honestly just an extremely lazy excuse to force to remove your store preference/filters and look thru hundreds of games you dont care about

rewards are minimal, process is tedious, i personally stopped after the 3rd
it's not a funny minigame but work

Ok, guys, from what I have experienced, searched games can change categories. About half of even games I found was not in categories other users found them in.
So the algorithm is - take the clue, search recommended category, of not found, search all the others. It doesn't take that long and you don't have to scroll the list of games at the bottom of the page, just click through sub-categories and pay attention to the price of the game - "TH.4" - it stands out.

Correct. Also when I started doing it, I was following a guideline that was posted first, but then I just searched for the game that was in the guideline.
