So Steams front store page now looks like an adult manga/anime shop
This is getting out of hand.

I really don't see any way of getting rid of this clutter, other than to go into each game and click "not interested", but then this does not affect the rest of the feed, just the top scrolling section.

Steam really needs to have a better way of personalizing the main store page for customers.

Maybe allowing you to pick a bunch of your favorite games, and using that data to generate a feed. Don't just go by what is in someones collection, since some of us collect games.

Ogami, do you whats even more hilarious? That those "wicked" porn games helped keeping down the percentage of sexual assaults in Japan according to statistics.

I know. Japan has freely available lolicon porn in form of manga, video games and anime.
And im not talking about these games on Steam, im talking about " yes that are supposed to be underage children having sex" material.
You can buy that freely in Japan.
And you know what? Japan has the lowest child abuse percentage of any first world country.
Maybe there is some correlation here, just saying.

And in many islamic states they marry 6 year old girls. Just because another country does something doesn't mean it's good or that we all should do it.

And if you are seriously trying to say that these "games" keep down the amount of child sex crimes, then you must be admitting that they are used by pedophiles. And I wish people would stop being so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ picky about exact meaning of words when they know exactly what the meaning is in that situation, it's a way of diverting attention from not having a valid counter, and trying to say "I know more than you, look, that means I'm right and you're stupid.

If you think child porn is ok, that's your lookout and just proves my original point that is indicative of the nasty society we live in these days.

1. I was talking about specific pornographic lolicon material that is available in japan.
Believe me, if Steam would have those games there would no doubt in anyone`s mind what the content is supposed to achieve.

2. No i dont think child porn is ok. I think child porn is a crime because it hurts children and damages them physically and mentally. Also in sexual relations between an adult and an child there is always a power unbalance. BUT, i defend the right for fictional material displaying this stuff to exist, yes. The same as i would defend the newest murder simulator game where you run through a bunch of civilians with a chainsaw.
Both acts would land you in jail in real life, both are ok as fiction.
We dont have to agree on this, you have your stance and i have mine regarding this material.
My point was only that the games here on steam do not fall under that category.

If you think child porn is ok, that's your lookout and just proves my original point that is indicative of the nasty society we live in these days.

Fun fact, child pornography was legal till the 70s in nearly every country in the world. There were commerically made and sold, especially in the USA and Europe.
So i always have to chuckle at people who think the world is somehow nastier nowadays.
Its really not. Its a far better, safer, and more open place for children then it ever was.

Edit: Also, again, highschool girls with big breasts are not pedophilia. In no country and no legal system in the world. That is not diverting attention, that is pointing out that you are plain WRONG. Just because a lot of people make this mistake and use that word in the wrong context does not make it right.
