Eternal (trying to blend MTG and Hearthstone)
Could also try Valve's new CCG based off of DotA. That's about the only ones I really know that are active and growing. The couple of other CCGs that were legit different either died or were abandoned.
We also love playing King of Tokyo too.
Also, instead of playing one card game, you could be playing countless.

Well there is a Mana system similar to MTG, e.g. you need 4 Green and 3 Red to summon X. So you can run into "Mana Flood" or create "Mana Blitz" decks to get high end creatures out early, you can also use cards that destroy/remove your opponent's Mana... basically the same kind of shenanigans MTG has.
There's also no "Hero abilities" that Hearthstone has, instead it is entirely Equip card based. E.g. you can give your Hero a Sword, thus letting them attack like a creature.(it can still be damaged/busted and creatures still retaliate the Hero) Also "face hugging" from Hearthstone isn't really a thing.(at least it wasn't very viable when I played)
IMO, Eternal plays more like MTG than it does Hearthstone. However it is similar to Hearthstone in a lot of ways. I found it more enjoyable than Hearthstone but eventually dropped it when it came to Steam since I felt a lot of things were imbalanced.
Like I said, that's one of the few active/growing TCGs I know of that isn't an outright Hearthstone clone and tries to be a bit different than the norm.(IMO, a lot of Eternal's difference stem from various card abilities)
