Steam wallet size limit

How does one sell an item like the following below and receive the money without exceeding the current ~$2000 as far as I know, limit? I'm sure funds are only allowed to go to the Steam Wallet.

What kind of Steam Wallet and item listing restrictions apply?
Currently we are restricting Steam Wallet balances to $2000. In other currencies, the limit will be set to a value close to $2000. We also limit the maximum price of a single listing on the market to $1800 (or similar for other currencies). You will be restricted from listing items for sale in the Community Market if the existing balance in your Steam Wallet, plus the sale price of the item(s), would together exceed the $2000 limit. We may be adjusting the Steam Wallet balance limit, or otherwise changing this restriction, in the future. Note that, if you have multiple Steam accounts, balances for all Steam Wallets associated with all of your accounts will be aggregated for purposes of applying this limit.

You know what happens if your currency is at a low enough value against the Dollar that you can list an item at its max listing price and your currency gets stronger, making the listing go above the max limit will keep the listing on the Market.
But even if the item is sold while the currency is still strong, the wallet will not show more than the max limit of $2,000. Once enough funds are used to reduce the wallet to below the $2,000 limit, it will then reflect that on their account. But until then, it will just show $2,000 even if it was $2,070 when the listing sold.

You're not considering currency conversions. Not eveyone has USD as their base currency.

How to compare things, you take your currency, compare to the USD for $1800, and that should give, an answer what your market limit listing should be around at in your currency. As what 1st post said, it's not going by exact $2000 for every country due to the currency differences.

that person will receive 1800$ regardless if he hits the 2k limit but that person will not able to sell any more items until his wallet is below 2k

he will get a red description that his Outstanding balance has hit the 2k limit if he try to list any items and he has to spend money until his balance is below the limit

the price he set will be restricted as well until he free up some space in his wallet if he's going to list a price for 1800$ again

Not all countries have exact money that has a symbol $. You might read how conversion works.

right... Australian dollars. The $2000 limit is based on US dollars.

So you did the conversion yet?

Current market ATM is this.
AUD $2,259.89 = around USD $1623.62 So you subtract $1623.62 from $1800, and you're left with USD $176.38 away from the market limit, or let say want to find out how far off from limit is in AUD it's 2505.39 converted to $1800, so we subtract $2.259.89 from 2505.39, and you're left with AUD $245.50 away from the market limit.
