Is it possible to have the account banned for stolen steam keys?

I found a steam keys vending site very cheap, a friend bought it and it really works, but I worry that the keys have been found illegally, like stolen card or others. Is it possible for my account to be banned for keys that were previously purchased with stolen cards or other fraudulent means?

The keys being revoked is usually as far as it goes for punishments.
But then again, Valve could lock accounts that look very suspiciously like they are a part of the fraud ring.

Yes its possible, is it LIKELY no, most common reaction would be you lose the game you paid for.

However context, quantity, etc all come into play, you start getting a whole bunch of stolen games anything is possible

Just buy from any retailers listed here https://isthereanydeal.com/

This way you can play your games and not have to worry about them being revoked where you've lost the money and game and then have to fork out more just to buy it again.

Just to make sure you yourself do understand what you are are asking: You would be OK with buying stolen merchandise as long as you won't get punished?

No, but like I said, I don't know where it came from, and that doesn't make the item stolen.

No, but like I said, I don't know where it came from, and that doesn't make the item stolen.

But you suspect them to be, at least strongly enough to inquire about the consequences for your account. Seriously - non official retailers with prices that are too good to be true are usually bad for the publisher or the customer, sometimes for both.
