Courier employee shortages affecting everything.
oh no that explains but is it possible to come back like ya know i can order it without a reserve
Some games on the Stem Deck will be like crack.
You don't have to pay Nintendo for mediocre online that may or may not be supported on games you already have on Steam.
You can use cloud save to continue to play games on your Steam Deck on the go.
okay understand but i want that to play like left 4 dead and stuff
what you do is
put laptop in backpack when you go out
connect 7in screen to laptop with hdmi and have bluetooth controller for games
what you get it more powerful system then a deck at cheaper price
you already have a ryzen based laptop with dedicated gpu so put it to work and use it as a mini pc with 7in screen and blue tooth controller
Really, i thought it was a handheld appliance that could play any games from STEAM as long as its a game thats listed in your steam account (or accounts, not sure if it works with multiple accounts or if it just allows 1 account). As far as i know it will NOT play games from origin, epic, uplay or any games thats not listed in your steam account.
It plays fine with those other services, with some extra work.
Not all games on Steam will work in SteamOS.
Throught Windows, most games work just fine.
If too lazy, or if it somehow too hard to figure out how to use Wine/Proton on Linux, you can install Windows 11 on it. Yes you read correctly you can install Windows 11 on it. Please note performance may be lower, or higher than running game from Linux.

Just to reensure you Steam desk is a PC, not a lock down console, that why can play games that not on Steam, and run software other than Steam on Steam deck, as well why you can use Steam as a PC with desktop on device it self, or hook it up to your monitor / TV using USB type C to DP or HDMI.
Yet my steam deck i can play almost all of my games i own on steam/origin/epic ect and online gaming is free besides paying ya isp of course.
Also i play my steam deck more nowadays than my switch and pc as i can play it anywhere i want.
overall the steam deck is the best hand held i'v bought yet def worth getting if you can afford it.
With Switch emulator, don't need a switch anymore lol, but jk there still some minor bugs but lot of games are playable.
i dunno'.. poop n' play?
Nintendo is my kryptonite. I am addicted to Mario platformer, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, Mario Kart, and other Nintendo exclusives...
honestly i have no interest to have either epic or origin and i do have one and only account which well my account you see right now so yeah
