Question on tags

If someone were to add tags to a game thats on the steam store will the tag be automatically added to the game tags or will the uploader of the game be able to see what the tags added were?
Im making a video game and i don't want specific tags added to it when i upload it on here

You can flag incorrect tags and Valve will remove them.

Simply put, yes they will be applied, though perhaps not directly visible on the store page as that only shows a set amount. People adding or "+"/"-" a tag will modify the weight. You as a developer can adjust the list as well.

Paragraph from the "Order and weight of tags" part, I made a part bold:

So, as a recap, start setting tags and their weight by using the Tag Wizard. Customers will also tag your game and those tags will be mixed in with the tags you had set with the Tag Wizard. As customers add more tags, the weight for those tags will increase. You can remove any tags you find unwanted ("family friendly" for a horror game) or inaccurate ("2D" for a 3D game).

To flag a tag, click on the "+". Then hover over the tag you want to flag and a flag icon will appear.
