I got banned from CoD Modern Warfare 2 Beta and also Warzone for no reason and found out why

I got banned and now I just found out why, I think it will help other people from getting banned for the same reason as me.

They said it was for unauthorized software and the software is a cpu limited software. If you are using a cpu limiter software stop using it.

Warzone 2.0 is coming out and I hope no one gets banned for no reason. I am also hoping I don't get banned, I am going to make sure my cpu limiter software is not running when I play Warzone 2.0. If you have it running you will get banned after 1 online game so remember to turn it off.

Also the cpu limiter program I was using is called Process Lasso.

Also there are other reason to be banned from the beta other than what you are stating, one of those being cheating which typically i find that those who cheat attempt to convince others of another reason for the ban, ie cpu limiting software.

A CPU limiter doesn't get an advantage over anyone. In fact, it would probably be more of a disadvantage than anything.

EAC doesn't discern actual cheat software from anything running outside on a certain level.

The program can be used to improve the cpu, memory and also io performance, that is what I think makes you get banned by the anti-cheat software.

I am waiting for CoD Warzone 2.0 to comes out it is gonna be cool. I hope I don't get banned for no reason because I don't use cheats and I think it is the cpu limiter software which is making me get banned.

OP did got a game ban so there's indeed a reason for it.

That's very odd to be ban for, or to trigger such ban if true, but guessing from this, means they're montioring hardware behavior, or having something that trigger if detect any software that does any kind of modification of hardware, and software behavior.

Have you contacted them about this?

Bans have literally been triggered from it detecting you using a Virtual Machine to run games on Linux.

A ban doesn't meant cheating every time.

MWII doesn't use EAC. They use their own in house anti-cheat, Ricochet.

so, what we have to believe is that you only had that running.

not going to call you a liar, but why would we believe that over them? i checked, and there seem to be lots of people using these limiters and not getting banned

i am saying that we only have your word that this is the only thing running.

i am also saying that i checked around, just to see what is up, and there are quite a few posts on reddit and the like about people using these limiters and nothing about them getting banned for it
