Steam Input per game setting question
Noticed they added this to the properties tab for each game now. it says forced on/off and "global setting none"

Where is this global setting?

You set it in Steam settings and can have it apply to all games.

There's a "Controller" panel in the settings.

Yeah, but that doesn't contain the "global" setting from what I can see. Its just enable (insert controller name here) support etc.

The Global setting is the collection of controller types that you've enabled configuration support for in the Big Picture controller settings.

The "None" that you're seeing in the setting is just what gets displayed when you don't have configuration support enabled for any controller types. You'll see if you enable support for one or more of them it will change, for example, enabling Xbox configuration support will change it to "Use your global Steam Input settings (Xbox)".

If you're interested in finding out more, there is a "Getting Started" guide in the Steam Input documentation:

It is the global setting. It merely doesn't contain the word "global" because it IS global. Don't need to have a sicker on you car to tell everyone its a car when everyone can see its a car. The term "global" isn't an empty label, the word has a meaning.
