Imagine if Minecraft was a steam game
I have a good feeling mods are gonna lock this up. or Move it elsewhere, Because I'm asking for your opinion, an honest one too.

Minecraft, a game by Mojang. Because it's a PC game originally, it is completely open to having mods. But installing mods and getting folders organized is a nightmare. talking from experience, I installed the Herobrine Mod for Minecraft. After watching some how to videos on the internet, I tried doing everything I saw, but the mods weren't working.

I'm well aware like any mod, they have capabilities for certain versions. I could easily go back a version via launcher, beta's. to make it work. But I have worlds as new as 1.13.2.

Now as the title of the question comes in, Imagine if Minecraft was a steam game.

Make it a free game or $5 at the minimum, and have Workshop store all the mods that minecraft was famous for having. I was never really a "Mod" kind of gamer because of all the trouble it took organizing the folders and files for the mod and god forbid one tiny thing is out of place it screws the whole mod up.

Hope there are people out there who can relate to me as a gamer.

The original creator of Minecraft never wanted Minecraft on Steam.

It's also one of the most successful Indie game of all time so I doubt being on Steam would make a difference. So making it free or charge $5 for it when it goes for like $20 or more is just ridiculous.

Right now it's in the hands of Microsoft so ask them to put it on Steam.
