- Arma3 + Mods
Arma is a milsim game and it's very much fit in with your criteria. The vanilla it self already include some realistic system such as bullet drop, realistic mag system, realistic flight model etc. But with some additional mods, you can also have even more realistic bullet drop, advanced wound system, etc. Only problem is unlike most games, you need to make and setup your own fun.
Basically you need to find friends that are also want to play those realism stuff. You can always try to look for a Realistic Milsim unit there. They might have some rules and stuff but there's a couple of those that you can choose to join. Milsim unit is like a group of people 'roleplaying' as a military group trying to do some objective and stuff with proper communication, formation, etc.
One thing that i'm not quite sure is the no respawn policy. Since Arma3 don't actually have any objective/sandbox (you make the objective yourselves) the respawn policy really depend on what server or group of people you play with.
- Squad
So aside from Arma, i have one more recommendation of game that is more "plug and play" if you don't want to hassle thru those stuff to set up arma3. This game is not the most realistic, but it does in some way and the game requires actual teamwork. The bullet drop and stuff is pretty good, it does actually hurt when you got shot (unlike cod or bf), there's tactic involve, good mag system, and there's FOB and stuff you can build during gameplay which make the game played differently each time.
But the cons for you is that you can respawn how much you like even tho it will cost your team a ticket, and you can see which are enemy and which are not. There's also a compas HUD and stuff.
As i said, not the most realistic in one way but it aim for a more realistic, slower paced combat
The is ongoing, with each side’s High Command (a select group of highly experienced players) directing the armies and air forces across Belgium, the Netherlands, and northeastern France. Each campaign typically takes a few weeks, and you can jump into the action at any time. As a forewarning, folks expecting CoD style game often get very frustrated and angry with the game, so if you are actually looking for a slightly more realistic CoD, this is not for you.
You can join on a trial basis for free, which is great.
I also think the first RB6 (that is a very old game) has very realistic things. Shooting or getting shot in the arm can be enough to kill and that is actually realistic.
Sadly true realistic FPS's does not exist, because it would make the game much to slow paced and hard. (something only a few of us wants)
Some might even argue that BF has some kind of realism (but like the others, its much to fast paced, unrealistic damage, etc etc etc..)
So well there is no realistic FPS.. but there are some that are more realistic than others.
Why did you choose a game that was released 3 years after this thread was even made?
