Some people don't want to buy a PlayStation 4 or 5. They're happy having the games on Steam.

I'm happy having games usually played on the Xbox on Steam as well.

I don't see buying consoles as a necessity save Nintendo consoles as sadly I'm a Nintendo junkie. I guess having immunity to MMO, Online gaming, etc comes with a weakness to Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Starfox, games etc....

why not? console gaming is obsolete (except the xbox 360 , it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks!!) . if you're not playing on pc, ur just flat out wastin ur time mah man. screw ah console. your lil nintendo switch? yeah, sell that shii. just emulate whatever game you can imagine straight of your gaming pc...who still BUYS games anymore? im not givin smoke signals btw... anyway yeah, its cool its here though

I'm surprised those discussions are so common on Steam when Valve stated the discussion of the topic was forbidden.

It really is irritating seeing it promoted in game forums where the games are emulated.

Where I live, finding a PS5 is a myth, let alone a PS4 these days. And strangely enough, no issues seeing a mound of Switch consoles in a dozen stores I passed through.

There are legit ROMs included on game bundles sold on Steam. I wasn't referring to that. I was referring to many threads in many Steam discussions regarding game bundles, like the Capcom Arcade Stadium 1 and 2, Capcom Fighting Collection, and elsewhere that almost boast about piracy.
